Acknowledgment of Risk

I understand that participation in the Vision Trip organized by Family Hope International involves travel to international destinations, which may include risks such as illness, injury, accidents, political instability, and other unforeseen circumstances. I acknowledge that these risks may arise from transportation, accommodations, activities, or other factors beyond the control of Family Hope International.

Assumption of Risk

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with this trip, including but not limited to personal injury, property loss, or other damages that may occur during travel or participation in trip activities.

Release of Liability

In consideration of being allowed to participate, I hereby release, waive, and discharge Family Hope International, its officers, employees, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained during or as a result of participation in this trip.

Indemnification

I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Family Hope International, its officers, employees, volunteers, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to my participation in the Vision Trip, including but not limited to any acts or omissions by me during the trip.

Medical Authorization

I authorize Family Hope International to seek emergency medical treatment on my behalf if necessary. I agree to be responsible for any costs incurred for such treatment.

Travel Insurance

I understand that Family Hope International strongly recommends obtaining travel insurance, including coverage for medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and evacuation.

Photo/Video Release

I grant Family Hope International permission to take photographs and video recordings of me during the Vision Trip. I authorize the use of these images and recordings for promotional, educational, and fundraising purposes in print, online, and other media without compensation. I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product or its use.

Pre-Trip Orientation Requirement

I understand that attendance at one of the scheduled Zoom orientation meetings offered by Family Hope International prior to the trip is mandatory. Failure to attend may result in cancellation of my participation.

Compliance

I agree to comply with all instructions, safety guidelines, and local laws during the trip. Failure to do so may result in removal from the trip at my own expense.
