Kibera Slum

This area in Nairobi, Kenya is one of the largest urban slum communities in Africa with estimates of 1 million people living there. Kibera has the worst conditions we have ever seen. Clean water is hard to access, HIV numbers are high and life expectancy is just 30 years old due to high infant mortality rates. We look forward to moving our program into Kibera in 2023, preserving more families as we move them out of extreme poverty.
