This family has recently lost support in our program. Pastor Michael Ochieng is the devoted spiritual leader of My Father’s House Ministries in Kibera, serving his community with deep compassion and unwavering faith. He and his wife, Merceline, work hard to care for their three children—Raphael, now in college studying computers; Susan, who hopes to become a journalist; and Gloria, who dreams of being a lawyer. Education is a priority for the family, though often a challenge. Living in the slums of Kibera, they are grateful for support that helps meet their basic needs. Monthly food distributions have eased financial strain, especially as Michael faces recent health challenges and the family continues to struggle with poor housing. Merceline runs a small pastry business, and with a recent FHI micro‑loan, the couple has opened a small sweets shop—an encouraging step toward stability. Your support empowers this resilient family as they pursue their dreams and spread hope in their community.  We expect this family to graduate from our program in the fall of 2027.
