Fantanesh is a single mother of one son living in Shashemene, Ethiopia. Robel is 3 years old and in preschool. Fantanesh is a daily laborer, she essentially looks for chores around her neighborhood that will pay. She does not bring in enough money this way and is struggling to support her little family. Fantanesh dreams of having her own business and is interested in selling vegetables in the local market. Your support will help ensure this family’s basic needs are met so they don’t have to worry about having enough to eat or whether Robel can attend school. Fantanesh will be a good candidate for the Empowerment Program in the future.
