Pastor Solomon Ochieng, 35, serves at Miracle Victory Church and lives in Kibera with his wife Pauline (28) and five children—two adopted and three biological. Dorine (19) is an orphan, and Boaz (14) was taken in after his parents separated. Their younger children, Faith and Jemimah (both 7), are in Grade 3, and Ishmael (5) is in preschool. Pastor Solomon earns about $64/month through casual work, while Pauline cares for the children full-time. They pay $24/month in rent but are three months behind. Food
insecurity and school fees are ongoing challenges. Despite this, Pastor Solomon remains committed to his ministry and community. He dreams of starting a small fast food business to create a stable income and better support his family. He hopes to build a more secure future while continuing to serve faithfully.
