Kennedy, 52, is an unemployed father and grandfather supporting a household of eight. He lives with his wife, Beatrice, and their children and grandchildren in a modest rented home. The family struggles with rent arrears and school fees. Beatrice does casual cleaning jobs, which is insufficient, especially after a fire at Toi Market destroyed their previous livelihood. Their children range from toddlers to college students, adding to the financial strain. Despite these challenges, Kennedy remains hopeful and aims to start a cafe business to regain stability. With proper support, this venture could provide a sustainable income. His resilience and dedication make him a strong candidate for our empowerment program.
