In the cramped confines of a single-room dwelling, Judy shares her life with her children, siblings, and her 55-year-old mother, Prackside Night. The challenges of their living situation are met with strength and determination by Judy, who is the sole provider for the family.  Judy has two lovely girls: Shantel (age 14) and Andy (age 3). Shantel works hard in school. Judy also lives with her 3 siblings.
 
Judy's journey as a single mother began three years ago when she made the courageous decision to separate from her husband. She currently washes clothing for others and occasionally works at a construction site. She struggles to make ends meet for all 7 of them and they often go to bed hungry.
