Esther is a resilient 31-year-old mother raising her four children and the children of her late sister. Her children are James (age 15), Mary (age 14) Brandon (age 13), and Ace (age 2). Her sister’s children are Salome (age 23), Celestine (age 21), Brian (age 23) and Molly (age 20). They all attend school.
Facing the challenges of single parenthood, Esther courageously finds odd jobs as she is able but does not bring home enough to meet all of their needs of food, rent and school fees. James and Salome demonstrate incredible resilience as they battle HIV, diligently adhering to their ARV regime. Esther is a wonderful mother and dreams of starting her own business selling household goods. Your support will help make this dream a reality.
