Diriba Babu lives with his wife Jiru and their two children. Their son, Lelisa, is seven years old and in first grade while their daughter, Sena, is nine years old and in 3rd grade. Currently, Diriba and Jiru work as daily laborers making a combined monthly income of just $13 a month. They live in their own home and have access to clean water. Diriba suffers from Elephantiasis whereas the rest of the family is in good health. They attend the local Christian church and are very interested in starting a small farming business in the future.
