Helen Akinyi, 40, is married to Linus Oundo Namachi, 52. They have three children: Auma Joan, 13, in Grade 4; Marry Kisakye, 8, in Grade 2; and Lucy Adhiambo, 4. Helen lost her job as a water vendor, where she earned $11 per month. Linus earns $68 per month as a security guard, which is insufficient for their needs.

Due to financial struggles, two children live with their grandparents to attend government schools. They live in a single-roomed cement house in poor condition, with a leaking roof. Rent is $31 per month, often unpaid. Both Helen and Linus are HIV positive but on ARV treatment.

Helen seeks to join the Family Hope International program to start a malimali business, aiming to support her family and children's education. As a Christian family, they rely on faith for guidance. Your support will provide stability and opportunities for their children.
